Welcome to the online platform of the College of Anaesthesiologists and Intensivists of Sri Lanka (COAISL). I am honoured to serve as the 31st President of COAISL with the aim of enhancing patient care and safety of all citizens. The role of the anaesthesiologist has evolved far beyond the operating room. We are now recognized as perioperative physicians, providing comprehensive care for patients throughout their surgical journey. This platform reflects this expanded role, offering resources and fostering collaboration to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients…!

The Faculty of Pain Medicine (FPM) is pleased to announce that submissions are now open for the upcoming Annual Academic Sessions 2024. This virtual event will be held on October 26th & 27th, 2024.

We invite you to submit abstracts on a broad range of topics related to Pain Medicine. This is an excellent opportunity to share your valuable research findings and clinical expertise with a distinguished audience of pain management professionals.
