Dear friends and colleagues,
The College of Anaesthesiologists and Intensivists of Sri Lanka has purchased a property at Rajagiriya for the use of College educational activities. We need to raise funds to build a new Auditorium and a Training Centre at this site. This facility will be used for training of healthcare professionals and public along with all other educational activities of the College. The auditorium will be named after Dr Ratnasabapathy Sashidharan, who was a dedicated teacher and trainer and was a mentor to many Sri Lankan post graduate trainees.
His dedication and untiring efforts led to securing of many training posts for Sri Lankan trainees in prestigious hospi- tals in the UK.He and his wife took an extra effort to entertain trainees mentored by him and he was never hesitant to lend a helping hand whenever needed.
His untimely demise has creat- ed a void that may never be filled. We have lost a dynamic, enthusiastic and hardworking true friend of Sri Lanka, who was a pillar of strength to his trainees.
For being a devoted and true friend to his family, friends and colleagues and for the yeomen service that he rendered to the college, we have initiated the R Sashidharan Memorial Auditorium fund to keep his memory in our hearts
The contributions made by you, irrespective of the amount, would assist to bring this project to life. Your generosity is much appreciated to make this project a success.
